Not as well known as Last Snows of Spring, this also stars Renato Cestiè as the tragic young boy trying to do good, though here, we have rather different circumstances.

PLOT:
Giacomino is a young boy trying to make a living out of a puppet show when his mother abandons him and his father. The father turns to drink, the mother to prostitution. The little boy lovingly saves all the money he can in a tin for his father and wishes for his parents to reunite. His wish comes true, but only when he collapses and is diagnosed as terminally ill. The child has to be nursed in a library as the hospital is full and the corridors themselves have patients in beds. Also called "The Last Circus Show" the film sees the young boy enjoying his last circus and being visited by "God" in the shape of "The Balloon Vender."

Like 'The Last Snows of Spring' and 'Last Feelings', this again is an Italian film dubbed into English, and like those films also, this too has never been released on DVD, and has therefore been transfered from the best VHS video print available.
