THE TRAP
Oliver Reed & Rita Tushingham
1966
"This is one of those movies that once seen you will never forget it. It leaves you with a feeling of delight after watching it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to sit riveted to their seat the entire movie. I was 14 yrs old in 1970 when I saw this movie and to this day at almost 50 I still think of the times me and my mother and brother watched it."
"Do yourself a favor. See "The Trap". And then . . . . see it again."
Lush Canadian scenery that stretches as far as the eye can see. The film was shot on location in British Columbia.
Oliver Reed was terribly underrated as an actor, and this movie goes to prove along with several others he made during the sixties that he was in fact one of Britain's finest actors.

The picture narrates the odyssey of an adventurer who, weary of civilization, chooses to live at one with nature, becoming a mountain man. A seemingly brutish fur trapper, his exploits gain him the nickname ¨La Bete¨ (The Beast). The story centres around these two mismatched individuals, both
